Police are looking for a suspect in a high-speed pursuit that caused several collisions in Saskatoon.

RCMP say a pickup truck was spotted speeding on Highway 11 near the community of Rosthern on Thursday morning.

When police attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled at a speed of nearly 150 kilometres an hour.

The vehicle was later seen driving erratically on the highway near Warman. The police chase continued into the Saskatoon city limits, where the pickup is believed to have collided with two other vehicles on Idylwyld Drive. No one was injured.

Police later found the suspect vehicle after it crashed into a tree near 33rd Street West and Avenue I.

One of the suspects, a 22-year-old man from LaLoche, was arrested near the scene of the crash. The man, whose name has not been released, is facing numerous charges, including dangerous driving, flight from police, possession of stolen property and prohibited driving.

He is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing Friday afternoon. Police say another male suspect is still at large.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the second suspect is being asked to call Warman RCMP.
