RCMP believe a missing Saskatoon woman was murdered by her husband, according to a court document.

The document, dated Jan. 19, cites an oath from Cpl. Jeremy Anderson. He states he has “reasonable grounds to believe” Greg Fertuck murdered Sheree Fertuck.

Sheree, a mother of three, hasn’t been seen since Dec. 7, 2015, when she left her family’s farm yard east of Kenaston, Sask. She was headed out to haul gravel.

Her semi-truck — with her keys, coat and cellphone inside — was found the next day at a gravel pit just off Highway 15, about 25 kilometres east of the central Saskatchewan community.

A body has yet to be found, but police announced last month investigators were treating the case a homicide.

No charges have been laid.

Sheree and her husband Greg were separated. The document containing Cpl. Anderson’s oath is part of a recent application from Sheree’s son, Lucas Fertuck, to be appointed property guardian of his mother’s affairs.

In the application, Lucas states his father, Greg, has attempted to cash in joint investments.

Greg Fertuck’s lawyer has yet to respond to CTV News inquiries.
