Prince Albert police have identified the city’s first homicide victim of the year as Jonathon Lee Cowan.
Police released his identity Wednesday.
The 23-year-old man was found dead early Saturday morning after police received a report that someone had been shot at an apartment on the 1000 block of First Avenue West.
Results from an autopsy, conducted Tuesday, have yet to be released.
Officers are still investigating.
