Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. has been fined $280,000 for the death of a worker at the company’s Allan Mine in 2012.
PotashCorp pleaded guilty this week to one charge under the province’s occupational health and safety regulations.
Three other charges against the company were withdrawn.
Charges were laid in April after a workplace fatality at PotashCorp’s Allan mine in June 2012.
