Thanks to GPS tracking, several people who had their cell phones stolen Thursday had them returned.

Around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night Saskatoon Police received reports from parents and players at a hockey rink on Avenue P that several cell phones had been stolen from dressing rooms.

Officers were told a suspicious man had been spotted in the rink at the same time the phones disappeared. Thanks to GPS tracking on one of the phones, officers were able to track the stolen goods to a home on the 500 block of Russell Road.

A search located at least seven phones, many of which came from the rink.
