Saskatoon police say they have cracked a 'Dial-a-Dope' operation following a brief stand-off on the east-side Tuesday.

Five men and two women, all from British Columbia face a total of 67 charges for weapons, drugs and proceeds of crime.

At first, police were called about a firearm inside an apartment on Tait Place. Initial arrests led officers to get search warrants for that apartment and another on Lansdowne Avenue. Police Constable Tisharae Stonehouse says the police were able to recover a rifle, cocaine, marijuana, and money.

"This took place at around 10:00 p.m. last night and as a result $8000 worth of cash, some stolen property, powdered cocaine along with crack cocaine and some small amounts of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia, ammunition and of course, the firearm -- along with other evidence -- was recovered."
