An apartment building on Prince Albert’s Central Avenue is once again at the forefront of a shooting investigation.

Police confirmed Tuesday an address on the 1900 block of Central Avenue is related to the homicide of 17-year-old Clayton James Bear. Bear was shot on 27th Street East just before 6 a.m. Monday.

Sgt. Brandon Mudry did not clarify the Central Avenue apartment’s relevance to the investigation but said police are staking out the property.

“The residence has been secured by police to maintain the continuity of any evidence which may be located within,” Mudry wrote in press release.
