Saskatoon Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a convenience store early Wednesday morning.

Police were called to the 2300 block of 33rd Street at about 5:40 am on Wednesday morning. According to investigators, a man entered the store and threatened the employee with a knife before fleeing the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes. The employee was not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as 6’1” in height, approximately 200lbs with light skin, wearing a blue hat, black sunglasses, and with a dark bandanna covering his face. He was clean shaven, wearing grey pants, a long sleeve dark shirt, black gloves, and light brown shoes.
