Saskatoon police are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run crash that damaged multiple vehicles.

Around 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a vehicle hitting five other vehicles on the 1200 block of 15th Street East.

Witnesses saw a man get out of the vehicle and flee on foot eastbound towards Cumberland Avenue.

The suspect is described as a man in his late teens or early 20’s, approximately 5’11, with dark hair and dark eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and jeans.

The incident was the first of two hit-and-run calls police received Thursday. The second report came in shortly before 10:30 a.m.

Officers were called to a restaurant on the 2400 block of 22nd Street West after a vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot before fleeing the scene.

Police located the vehicle on the 500 block of Avenue X South and spotted two people exit the vehicle and enter an apartment.

The pair were taken into custody, police said in a media release.
