A Saskatoon police officer is off-duty with a suspected sprained ankle after an arrest on Friday night.

Police were called to a residence in the 700 block of Confederation Drive around 7:30 p.m. after a report of a domestic dispute. Officers tried to arrest a man and he fled on foot, police said in a news release. One officer was injured, but was able to arrest the suspect.

The 32-year-old man is charged with breaching the conditions of his undertaking and had outstanding warrants from Buffalo Narrows RCMP. He will remain in custody until he appears before a Justice of the Peace.
