Saskatoon police have ruled that the man found dead in a truck on circle drive was the victim of homicide.

Officers found the black Ford on the shoulder of Circle Drive Thursday night during a routine patrol. The truck was missing it’s rear driver’s side wheel, and the body of 25-year-old Alexander Holdner was found inside. No one else was found in the area.

An autopsy was done on Friday and police said “the manner of the death was determined to be a homicide”.

Holdner was formerly from Young, Saskatchewan.

The major crimes section is still investigating, and police said no other information is available at this time.
