Police are investigating after a woman was robbed near the intersection of Second Avenue North and 23rd Street East.

According to a police news release, a woman approached the victim and asked to see her phone around 11:50 a.m. on Sunday. The suspect threatened to stab her and eventually left the scene with the phone.

The suspect is described as an indigenous woman around 30 years old. She is around 5’5” tall with a slim build and brown shoulder length hair parted in the middle. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a black or grey cardigan and blue jeans.
