Four men have now been arrested after a man was shot to death in Saskatoon in October.

At 3:20 p.m. on Oct. 14, police were called to a home on the 300 block of Garrison Crescent, where they found the body of a man, who has since been identified as Corey Favel, 25.

Police believe that Favel and four other men were committing a home invasion, when the resident of the home shot him. The Saskatoon Public Prosecutions Office has determined that charges will not be laid against the resident.

On Thursday, Dustin Sand, 29, was arrested at the Prince Albert Correction Centre and charged with manslaughter for allegedly unlawfully causing the death of Favel. He has also been charged with robbery with a firearm, using an imitation firearm during an offence, possession of a weapon, break and enter, and wearing a mask or disguise while committing an offence.

He appeared in court on Dec. 9, and has been remanded to custody.
