Police have released the autopsy results on Nia Eastman and Adam Jay Eastman.
The investigation has concluded that the cause of death was homicide and suicide, although police say they will not be releasing the specific cause of death for either Nia or Adam.
An Amber Alert was issued for Nia Eastman on Nov. 10 after her father, Adam Jay Eastman, failed to return her to her mother’s home after he picked her up from school on Nov. 9.
Adam Eastman’s body was found on the morning of Nov. 10, and Nia’s body was found in a home in Choiceland, not far from Nipawin several hours later.
A Go-Fund-Me page set up for Nia’s mother has already raised tens of thousands of dollars.
