John Lake Elementary School implemented their emergency procedures after two students saw what they believed to be a man with a gun outside of the school.

The two students, aged 6 and 7, saw the alleged man during their lunch break. The man may have left the scene in a vehicle.

The school brough all the students inside, and called the police. Their lockdown procedures were put in place, and police did a sweep of the entire school to make sure there was no one found their way into the school from outside.

Roughly an hour after the alarm, police re-opened the school. Police said they haven't found anyone matching the description given by the students.
