Four people from Quebec are facing drug-related charges after an investigation by members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team.

Police stopped a vehicle at 21st Street and Avenue M just after 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Inside the rental vehicle, officers found 12.36 grams of packaged cocaine, 15.8 grams of marijuana and about $5000 in cash.

The police said the vehicle was pulled over after officers saw it make numerous stops consistent with drug deals.

Search warrants were executed on two hotels rooms in the 600 block of Spadina Cresccent and officers seized about 40 more grams of cocaine, prepaid credit cards and two credit card readers.

Three men aged 23, 25 and 27 and one woman, 21, were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of proceeds of crime.

They appeared in provincial court Thursday morning
