A 55-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle on a highway north of Prince Albert.

Police were called to Highway 2 North near Christopher Lake, Sask. around 8:20 p.m. on Monday.

The man, who had been hit by a northbound vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name has not been released, but police say he is from Black Lake, Sask.

The driver of the vehicle was not physically injured.

No charges have been laid in the crash.

Christopher Lake is about 40 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
