A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after a stolen vehicle fled police on Sunday morning.

Patrol members located the vehicle around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday morning on the west side of Saskatoon. The vehicle fled when officers tried to stop it, police said in a media release.

While attempting to evade police, the vehicle hit a fence on the north side of Bethlehem School. A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries and a 20-year-old man is in custody. He is facing multiple charges, including evading police, dangerous driving and possession of a firearm.
