Residents in Prince Albert can get rid of there old Christmas trees, and help out the city with one of their popular winter events by doing so.
There is a drop off at the boat launch on River Street, where residents can leave their trees. They will than be used for the cities annual Winterfest in late February.
"They will be used by the boy scouts" says Greg Zeeben, Director of Community Events for Prince Albert. "They will have a large bonfire at Winterfest, using the trees for it".
Trees can be dropped off anytime before the Winterfest event.
