No foul play is suspected in the case of the 57-year-old man who died in a Saskatoon Police cell on January 16.

As a result of the preliminary findings, the Office of the Chief Coroner of Saskatchewan now has full authority over the rest of the investigation.

The man was arrested for public intoxication at approximately 7:15 p.m. January 15. He was found dead in his cell the next morning after being checked on regularly overnight.
