A giant icicle that made international news while clinging to the side of a west-side apartment building last week appears to have a sequel.
Another giant chunk of ice, possibly even bigger than last week’s icicle, is prompting calls for removal after it formed on a three-storey apartment building located on the 600 block of Eighth Street.
The buildup of ice extends down the side of the building and also has utility wires frozen into the mass.
Inspectors from Saskatoon Fire and Protective Series evaluated the mass yesterday.
