The trial started Monday for one of the men charged in connection to the murder of Lorry Ann Santos.

Randy O'Hagan is one of three men who were charged with first-degree murder in the death of the 34-year-old Saskatoon wife and mother of four.

Santos was shot and killed on the morning of Sept. 12, 2012, while at her home in Saskatoon’s Westview neighbourhood with her husband and four children.

Saskatoon police have said she was a victim of mistake by members of an Alberta gang called the White Boy Posse who went to the wrong house. At the time, police believe the gang was trying to infiltrate the Saskatoon drug trade.

Kyle Halbauer pled guilty to first-degree murder last fall in connection with Santos’ death and was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.

Over the weekend Joshua Petrin, the third man charged in connection to Santos' killing, was charged in two other separate homicides in Alberta.

RCMP allege Petrin has ties to the White Boy Posse, a northern Alberta street gang that deals drugs and has ties to the Hells Angels.
