A 35-year-old woman is dead after a crash on Highway 16.
RCMP were called around 11 p.m. Friday to the collision about one kilometre east of Fielding, a town in north-central Saskatchewan. A van collided with the back of a transport truck, Mounties said in a media release.
One passenger in the van was taken to hospital in North Battleford where she died of her injuries. Her name has not yet been released.
No other passengers were injured, RCMP said.
