A single-vehicle rollover on the Big River First Nation early Saturday morning left two men dead and sent another to hospital.

RCMP were called to the crash on the 793 grid around 5 a.m. An SUV travelling west lost control before rolling several times into the ditch, police said in a media release.

Two men — 26 and 28 years old — died at the scene. A third man was sent to hospital with undetermined injuries. Their names have yet to be released.

An RCMP traffic reconstructionist was still on scene as of early Saturday afternoon. Police said travel would be delayed on the 793 grid until mid-afternoon.

The Big River First Nation is located about 100 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
