RCMP probe discovery of body along South Saskatchewan River

RCMP are investigating the discovery of a body along the South Saskatchewan River.

The body was found on a sandbar near Victor Road in the Rural Municipality of Corman Park.

An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted Tuesday to determine the cause of death.

It’s hoped that dental records will help identify the person.

There’s no word on whether foul play is suspected.
