A 59-year-old pedestrian was rushed to hospital Wednesday night after he was struck by a vehicle.
Police were called to the 3500 block of Idylwyld Drive North shortly before 8 p.m. after a passerby reported finding a man lying on the roadway.
He was struck by a vehicle, police said. The driver, a 22-year-old man, pulled over a short distance from the collision and also called police.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators suspect the pedestrian was impaired when he was struck by the vehicle.
No charges have been laid but police are still investigating.
