Police say three people have been charged and at least 99 fentanyl pills, hundreds of grams of cocaine and more than $8,000 in cash have been seized as part of a drug trafficking investigation in Saskatoon.

Officers seized the fentanyl pills, 1900 grams of marijuana, 165 grams of crack cocaine and 261 grams of powdered cocaine after a traffic stop early Tuesday evening, police said in a new release. The cash as well as 62 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of marijuana and cellphones were found in a follow-up search at an apartment on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue North.

Two men were arrested after the traffic stop and a woman was taken into custody during the search of the apartment, according to police.

The men, 29 and 30, are accused of possessing fentanyl, marijuana and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and the woman, 24, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

All three were expected to appear in court Wednesday.
