The city of Saskatoon is asking residents to name the North Commuter Parkway Bridge.
People can submit potential names on the city’s website.
All submissions must represent an Indigenous event, figure or concept, as part of the city’s reconciliation efforts.
The city has so far received 94 name suggestions and will accept submissions until the end of October.
The naming committee will then narrow down the submitted names and present one to council for approval.
