A man wanted for murder in the Yukon and who RCMP warned this week could be in Saskatchewan, Alberta or B.C., turned himself in to police Friday.

Michael Thomas MacPherson, charged with second-degree murder in the death of John Tanner Sinclair, turned himself in to Westshore RCMP in B.C. around noon.

The 32-year-old will be brought back to the Yukon to face the charges.

Sinclair, 27, died of stab wounds in Whitehorse on July 15.
