A 43-year-old man is in an Edmonton hospital with serious injuries after an apartment fire in North Battleford.
Fire crews were called just before 9:15 p.m. Wednesday to an apartment building in the 1400 block of 101st Street where the fire had already been extinguished and contained to a single apartment, Battlefords RCMP said in a news release.
The man was conscious and speaking upon arrival of emergency personnel. He was later transported to hospital in Edmonton.
The investigation into the fire is continuing.
