One man is in hospital after a stabbing in the 300 block of Second Avenue South.

Police were called to the scene just after 9:30 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, police found a 29-year-old man with a stab wound in his abdomen. He was transported to hospital for treatment, but was not cooperative with officials, police said in a news release. According to police, witnesses said he was arguing with a woman who stabbed him before fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as indigenous with fair skin and blonde hair with black streaks. She is heavy set, around 250-lbs, and carrying a pink handbag.
