A 58-year-old man was rushed to hospital in serious condition Friday morning after a crash northeast of Saskatoon.

Two vehicles collided on Highway 41, about eight miles north of the city, according to a media release from MD Ambulance.

A 47-year-old woman was also taken to hospital. She was in stable condition.

Two dead deer were also on the road, paramedics said.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
