A 33-year-old woman has been charged after an elderly man in a motorized scooter was struck by a vehicle in Saskatoon’s Sutherland area.
Police were called to the intersection of Central Avenue and 109th Street at about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. A man in a scooter was travelling across Central when he was hit by a vehicle headed north, police said in a media release.
He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman was charged with failing to yield.
