One man is dead near the community of Biggar after being hit by a train.
The accident happened around 9:20 Saturday morning southeast of Purdue, near Highway #14. The victim was walking in the area when he was hit. There is no word on how the man was struck.
His identity is not being released, pending notification of next of kin. Officials are continuing to investigate.
