A 25-year-old Lloydminster man has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison for fatally punching his infant son last year.
James Larose told the court he was intoxicated, and when he tried to change the six-month old baby's diaper, he got the boy's excrement on his arm.
Larose then punched the baby five times in the stomach in a fit of anger.
The court heard that the attack ruptured the boy's intestines, causing his death.
