A man in his mid-20s is facing impaired driving charges after passing out inside a vehicle at a Saskatoon car wash.

Emergency crews were called to the Fairhaven Car Wash on 22nd Street West just before 9 a.m. A man was reportedly asleep in a vehicle inside one of the car wash’s stalls.

Police said the man was arrested after he was medically cleared by paramedics on scene. He was charged with impaired driving and exceeding a blood-alcohol level over 0.08.

He was still in police custody Saturday afternoon.
