A 31-year-old man is facing a charge of attempted murder and aggravated assault following a stabbing incident in a community north east of Prince Albert.
Just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday, RCMP in the remote town of Sandy Bay were called to a local hospital, where a man was being treated for multiple stab wounds. Police say he had been stabbed during an altercation in his home.
The accused has been identified as Eli John Durocher.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
