A 59-year-old man from Big Island Lake Cree Territory died after a vehicle rolled, RCMP said in a news release.
Pierceland RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 21, approximately three kilometres north of Pierceland, around 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
Four other passengers, all from Big Island Lake Cree Territory, were ejected from the vehicle and taken to hospital by Cold Lake Ambulance with serious injuries.
Pierceland RCMP, with assistance from an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, Pierceland Fire, Cold Lake Fire and Cold Lake EMS attended the rollover. The investigation is ongoing.
