An 18-year-old man has been taken into custody after two men were bear sprayed Sunday night in Kamsack, Sask.

He allegedly approached the two victims, aged 14 and 21, on Cotter Street around 10 p.m. before demanding their personal belongings, bear spraying the two men and making off with cash and a cell phone.

The victims were treated in hospital and released, according to RCMP.

The 18-year-old, Aaron Ironstand, was taken into custody and charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a weapon dangerous to the public, resisting arrest and breaching a probation order.

He appeared in Yorkton provincial court Tuesday morning.
