Kelly Block is keeping a seat in Parliament.
The Conservative candidate easily won the new Carlton Trail-Eagle Creek riding after securing nearly 26,000 — or about 65 per cent — of the 40,165 votes.
The riding, which was created when the federal electoral map was redrawn in 2012, is made up of previous districts Saskatoon-Humboldt, Saskatoon-Rosetown-Biggar and Saskatoon-Wanuskewin.
Block has represented Saskatoon-Rosetown-Biggar since 2008.
She beat out NDP candidate Glenn Wright, Liberal candidate Alexander Slusar and Green Party candidate Lynn Oliphant.
Wright finished with 18.7 per cent of the vote while Slusar and Oliphant managed 14.4 and 2.2, respectively.
