Huey Lewis and the News are coming to Saskatoon.

The American rockers best known for the hits The Power of Love, The Heart of Rock and Roll, Stuck with You and Hip to Be Square are set to play the Bessborough Gardens July 21.

The concert was announced Wednesday as part of the Cameco Cares Concert Series. All ticket proceeds will go to the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.

“The hospital foundations are one area that touches everyone not only in the city but in the surrounding communities,” said Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel. “The foundations do great work for the hospitals.”

The Cameco concerts are a four-year series that kicked off last year with the Barenaked Ladies performing at the gardens.

Each year a different hospital foundation will be chosen to receive ticket proceeds. The Barenaked Ladies concert raised $160,000 for the Royal University Hospital Foundation.
