A heat warning from Environment Canada has been expanded across much of Saskatchewan.

Much of the province’s central and northern regions, as well as the southeast corner, are now under the warning.

“Watch for the effects of heat illness: swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions,” Environment Canada states.

Daytime temperatures near or exceeding 29 C in the central and north are to continue for a few days, and temperatures exceeding 32 C in the southeast are expected to begin Thursday and continue to Saturday, according to the warnings.

  • Prince Albert
  • Southend
  • The Battlefords
