A garage sale on Avenue X North was terrorized Saturday afternoon by a man claiming to have a gun.
Police were called around 2:30 p.m. about a man foaming at the mouth and telling people he had a gun. There were some tense moments for police when they arrived but the man was apprehended and no weapon was found.
An 18-year-old was arrested for intoxication. Other charges may be pending. Police are reminding people that in the hot weather alcohol can have a stronger effect.
