After a compliance order was issued to take the icicle down within 24 hours on Friday, crews gave it their best. However, the project was put on hold after it out to be a tougher job than initially thought. On Saturday, half of the ice was still there.

While a compliance order was issued Friday to have the giant icicle taken down within 24 hours, crews were forced to give up and wait for bigger equipment. On Saturday, much of the structure was still standing.
