Police have made five arrests in a drug bust in La Ronge.

A team of officers from several detachments coordinated the execution of two search warrants at two homes on the Lac La Ronge First Nation on Saturday morning.

Police seized $5,000 in cash, 40 Hydromorphone pills, a small amount of cannabis and drug paraphernalia as a result of the search.

The five people arrested at the scene are 21-year-old Thomas Ratt, 23-year-old Floyd Ratt, 20-year-old Zebedy Herringer, 26-year-old Sherry Pritchard, and one person who is under the age of 18 and whose name will not be released.

All are from the La Ronge area and will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Tuesday to face a range of charges. The charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime.
