Pelican Narrows’ village hall is a “total loss” after a fire, RCMP say.
Officers responded to the blaze at the LAC Village Hall early Monday morning, at 6:15 a.m. The building was engulfed in flames when police arrived, according to an RCMP media release.
The scene was still hot as of Monday afternoon and the building had been completely destroyed, police say.
No one was inside the hall at the time of the fire, no one was injured and no nearby buildings were damaged.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
