On Monday morning The Saskatoon Fire Department was called to assist MD Ambulance in the removal of a man from Saskatoon Water Treatment Plant clarifier.
The man tripped and injured his leg while working in the clarifier.
The Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team used high angle rope rescue techniques to lift the patient approximately 6 meters in a rescue basket.
The contractor had undetermined injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance in stable condition.
