A nightmare situation for a 21-year-old man has led to the arrest of two people.

Saskatoon police say the man was the passenger in his vehicle that was being driven a female acquaintance Sunday morning when another vehicle cut them off.

The man was forced inside the second vehicle and was beaten and robbed while being driven around for several hours. He escaped and sought help by from a home on 11th Street West when the suspect stopped to gas up the vehicle.

The victim's vehicle was later found west of Saskatoon. Police say the female acquaintance is accused of taking part in the crime.

A 24-year-old man is charged with robbery, unlawful confinement, assault and uttering threats, while a 21-year-old woman is charged with being a party to unlawful confinement and robbery.
