A few past Jazz Fest headliners will be returning to Saskatoon this summer to once again lead the event.

The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival announced much of its lineup Friday.

Feist, Ziggy Marley, Serena Ryder and Michael Franti and Spearhead — all of whom have performed at previous Jazz Fests — were among the headliners listed.

“Today, we are thrilled to release a large portion of our ticketed program,” Kevin Tobin, the festival’s artistic director, said in a media release.

“From fan favourites to hidden gems waiting to be discovered, the 2017 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival continues a tradition of offering a diverse lineup that encourages fans to explore the festival universe.”

Walk off the Earth, Brett Kissel and Amanda Marshall, the other headliners announced Friday, will be taking to the TD Mainstage, at the Bessborough Gardens, for the first time.

One Bessborough Gardens performer has yet to be announced, according to Tobin.

The Jazz Fest runs from June 23 to July 2.
