Friends and family of a missing Saskatoon woman are searching for their loved one this weekend.

Dorothy Woods went missing from her Riel Cresent home on November 12.

Saturday afternoon brought friends and family to the grass woods area behind the house. They searched on foot through grasslands and sloughs, and through forests on ATVs.

Police are calling the disappearance of this mother of two suspicious. They have named her husband as a person of interest in the case.

Lawrence Carter, Woods' brother says her disappearance has been tough on the family, especially this time of year. "It doesn't feel like Christmas. I just want my sister back for Christmas that would be an awesome present."

25 people showed up to help the family search. They juggle the hope that Woods is ok with the desire to bring closure has taken its toll on this devoted group.

Saskatoon police say they too are still actively searching for Woods, and will continue following up all leads until she is found,
